Thanks for visiting the Hydro information panels.

Our site is adjacent to an old weir and sluice

Extensive civil engineering works were needed in very difficult conditions

The screw and channel were imported from Landustrie in Holland

The generator and control systems  were made locally

Access is along the boardwalk, built by RRR in 2021

Volunteers  keep the generator working  and maintain the site
